Are summer holidays still happening? Why have they introduced a new law and a fine for travel? Will we still get to Zante this summer?
We’ve had a lot of emails and questions over the last 48 hours due to a number of tabloid headlines regarding summer holidays in 2021.
It’s important to remember, nothing has really changed. The announcement regarding foreign travel is still set for the 12th April, with travel expected to commence from 17th May.
With the new law that has passed today, this gives the government the authority to ban foreign travel up until 30th June 2021 if they say fit. However, it is not a final decision and nothing is yet set in stone.
We are as eager to get going as you guys, and we’re doing everything we can to offer a safe and responsible environment throughout our events.
Our booking patterns indicate the majority of holidays have been booked from 20th June onwards. This is over a month after foreign travel is scheduled to restart and we are confident all our events will be running as planned.
We are due to start our events from 29th May, if any of our events are cancelled due to the impact of coronavirus, we will issue you with a full refund or a free date change at your discretion. As far as we’re concerned… Summer holidays are still happening.
We will, of course, keep you updated with the latest news as it happens!
See you in Zante
