Zante is Green, it’s official!
After today’s announcement, Zakynthos has been added to the UK’s GREEN list of countries meaning Summer 2021 is happening. It’s been a long time coming, but due to such low infection rates across the island, Zante has deservedly been given the green light for summer 2021.
What does this mean? It means you can travel safely to Zante without having to self isolate of quarantine when you get back to the UK. In other good news, Greece are accepting anybody that has had both vaccinations, without the need for a PCR test on arrival. If you haven’t had both jabs, you will need a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival. If you’re flying with TUI, these can be arranged for just £20 (click here). It’s best to check with your flight/holiday company to see what they recommend, but you can also book an independent test from as low as £50 by clicking here.
Bars and clubs have been opening across the island over the last couple of weeks. The atmosphere in Zante is very positive and Greece are keen to welcome international arrivals and take responsibility for your safety while there. Local laws will be adhered to at all times but with restrictions easing weekly, we’re very confident we can open as planned and as normal from 26th June.
If you haven’t booked your events yet, now is the time to do it. Certain dates in July and August are already almost at capacity so make sure you put down a deposit for Zante’s number 1 event package (Zante Mega Deal) sooner rather than later. It’s time to party!
